I commented what I thought was a progressive reddit sub that what happened to Mahmoud Khalil was a test of concept, and that it wouldn't be long before anyone who openly dissented with the current administration or the actions of unelected bureaucrats dismantling the underpinnings of our government as a means to obtain power and pay for more tax cuts for the rich would be rounded up and disappeared.
I was yelled at, called an antisemite and a supporter of a pro-Hamas terrorist.
I am not surprised, unfortunately. Sadly, this administration has found a strong weapon to wield in their faux concern with anti-Semitic activities. They know that even some of their harshest critics will turn on their own once you throw criticism of Isreal into the mix. Even if it's only inferred.
By the way, you are 100% correct in your observation, and anyone who can't or won't see that is deluding themselves.
